Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, encompasses the science of deep relaxation. The state of consciousness achieved is a state between sleep and awake, yet different than meditation in that concentration on a single point is not required.
In this module, we explore the depths of yoga tradition and Western science as applied to the practice. Participants will learn history of the practice, physiology, benefits, and tools for guiding students into this transformational practice.
