Sadhana Yoga Teacher Training is the program developed by Diane. Sadhana means: the intentional acts to create transformation of the inner state of wellbeing- it is what we do, how we do it, and with spiritual intention.

The foundational 200-hr certification is for the curious student and/or the aspiring teacher looking to explore the wisdom of the mind-body connection. It is comprehensive and includes study in the 8 Limbs of Yoga, skilled teaching (poses & sequencing), anatomical alignment and injury prevention, philosophy, meditation and pranayama, inclusive and accessible teaching pedagogy, service, the energetic body, business, and supervised practice teaching.

A 200-hr teacher training will bring about change to both your current practice and your life.  It is a journey of self-transformation and deeper connection.

Full Training Can Be Completed Online

The 300-hr Advanced Teacher Training explores the depths of the 8-limbs of yoga and develops the skills of a teacher as a leader in the community, designed to take your practice and teaching to new levels of effectiveness and power. The 300-hr curriculum is integrative and innovative, combining the latest research on western science (anatomy, the nervous system, biomechanics, therapeutics, neuroscience, and psychological health) as it relates to yoga and supporting others' wellbeing, Teaching methodology, eastern philosophy, and in-depth training in yoga styles beyond vinyasa flow will add to your repertoire as a teacher.   Each module is experiential, hands-on, in-depth, and emphasizes new techniques to add to your teaching repertoire. Modern science in biomechanics and somatic studies will be blended with the ancient wisdom and practices of yoga. The training is designed for teachers to emerge as more confident leaders; knowledgeable, compassionate, and connected to service in the field of teaching yoga. Combined with a foundational 200 hour yoga teacher training, the 300 hour certification allows participants eligibility to register with Yoga Alliance as a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).

The program is led and developed by Diane Malaspina, Ph.D. psychologist and yoga teacher. Additional faculty members and guest presenters will be woven into select modules over the course of the program.
